This is a hybrid mix of cauliflower and broccoli. The florets are bright green (lighter than broccoli) and packed into a round head like cauliflower. The flavour tends to be sweeter than cauliflower and broccoli.

Choy sum is a leafy vegetable commonly used in Chinese cuisine. It is a member of the Brassica genus and the Brassicaceae family. Choy sum is a transliteration of the Cantonese name, which can be literally translated as "vegetable stem". Great for stir fry.
